Zeekr, a young electric vehicle brand under the enormous Geely Holding Group umbrella, had a tremendous end of 2024, and a great year overall. In fact, it even beat XPENG’s and NIO’s great numbers, in volume terms and percentage growth terms.

Zeekr sold 27,190 vehicles in December, a 102% increase year over year. Across all of 2024, Zeekr sold 222,123 vehicles, an 87% increase year over year.

From its first delivery onward, Zeekr achieved 418,756 vehicle deliveries by the end of 2024.

Extrapolating the 27,190 sales of December across 12 months, that would be 326,280 sales. Funny enough, that’s right around what Zeekr is aiming for in 2025 — 320,000 vehicle sales. “Looking ahead to 2025, ZEEKR aims to achieve deliveries of 320,000 vehicles,” the company writes. “As an industry trailblazer, ZEEKR remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering exceptional products and services, continuously fueled by the trust and support of our valued customers.” Well, that’s nice.

As is the case with all of these smart EV startups from China, Zeekr seems to be continuously rolling out new models. (Tesla: take note.) Just yesterday, the company teased a new model on X/Twitter:

It was just a few weeks ago that I wrote about the new Zeekr 7X. The Zeekr 7GT seems to be a sportier version of that already sporty SUV. But I guess we’ll have to wait for a full official announcement in order to know the specs and see more of the sleek EV. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, here are those three pictures of the Zeekr 7GT:
