Zeekr already has its X compact SUV and 001 shooting brake on the market in certain European countries, but now it’s bringing an upscale, super-quick, superfast-charging family SUV to the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway. This is a highly appealing new electric SUV and I could see it gobbling up a decent portion of these markets.

To start off, here are some key specs and details:

  • 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds (Performance trim)
  • 480 km or 615 km of range — Premium and Long Range trims, respectively (not WLTP tested yet)
  • 800V electrical architecture
  • Up to 480 kW DC charging
  • 10–80% charge in 13 minutes (Premium trim) or 16 minutes (Long Range or Performance trim) on 360 kW charger
  • Length of 4,787mm, height of 1,650mm, 2,900mm wheelbase
  • 539 liters of cargo space in the back and 66 liters in the frunk
  • 8295 Qualcomm Snapdragon chip (the fastest yet in a Zeekr vehicle) and 5G infotainment
  • 16-inch HD touchscreen
  • 36.2-inch augmented reality head-up display (optional)
  • 11 cameras and 1 radar system
  • 310kW (421PS)/440Nm single motor (Premium and Long Range trims)
  • Two motors totaling 470kW (639PS) and 710Nm in the Performance trim
  • 75 kWh LFP battery (Premium trim) or 100 kWh NMC battery (Long Range or Performance trim)
  • 22 kW onboard AC charger — 10–100% charge in 4.5 hours in Premium trim or 5.5 hours in Long Range or Performance trim
  • Starting price of €52,990 (including VAT) in the Netherlands, 579,000 SEK (including VAT) in Sweden, and 539,900 NOK (including VAT) in Norway — for the single-motor Premium trim.

“Following the success of the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X, we are very proud to introduce our third electric vehicle to the European market. The Zeekr 7X will redefine expectations in the midsize family SUV segment, and with its exceptional range and ultra-fast charging capabilities, will make the transition to electric driving seamless and stress-free for our customers,” Zeekr Europe Chief Commercial Officer Lothar Schupet noted. “This launch represents another significant milestone in our commitment to customer-focused technology and innovation and reinforces our strategic expansion: the Zeekr 7X will play a key role in our mission to accelerate the shift to sustainable mobility in Europe.”

The model comes with a 5+5 year warranty, with 5 years and 100,000 km of coverage initially and an option for an extended warranty of another 5 years and another 100,000 km. The high-voltage battery, meanwhile, has an 8-year or 200,000 km warranty — whichever comes first.

“Created in Zeekr’s global design centre in Gothenburg, Sweden using the same SEA modular vehicle architecture as the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X, the Zeekr 7X has an unmistakably sleek exterior form, and is the first Zeekr model in Europe with the new front visual identity,” Zeekr writes. “The clean lines and sculpted surfaces are enhanced by the slender Matrix LED headlights and full-length LED light clusters at the rear.” Have a look at more pictures below and make up your own opinion. I think it’s s stunning, sleek SUV and should sell like hotcakes.

Pretty slick, eh? This should be a hit in the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway, in my humble opinion.
