WA’s premier mining event returns tomorrow

The highly anticipated WA Mining Conference and Exhibition 2025 (WA Mining) is set to kick off tomorrow at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This two-day event will bring together thousands of industry professionals from across Western Australia’s mining and mining equipment, technology, and services (METS) sectors.

Following a sold-out event in 2024, WA Mining 2025 has expanded its program to address key industry themes, including automation, decarbonisation, data, safety, and workforce transformation. The conference aims to provide immediate operational insights and long-term strategic discussions.

A significant addition this year is an official partnership with the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC), reinforcing WA Mining’s position as a platform for strategic discussion and practical outcomes across all levels of the sector.

The program features over 60 expert speakers, including Western Australian Mines and Petroleum Minister David Michael, Oracle director of customer strategy Michael Simms, Industry Capability Network national climate director Dr Vanessa Rauland, as well as leaders from Deloitte Cyber, Lifeline WA, and the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia.

On the exhibition floor, more than 150 companies will showcase solutions spanning equipment, digital systems, process optimisation, and sustainability. Some exhibitors will offer live demonstrations designed to meet real-world mining challenges.

Attendees still have time to upgrade their tickets to gain full conference access and benefit from keynote presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, including the popular Welcome Drinks on Wednesday evening.

WA Mining 2025 will get underway tomorrow at 10:00am (AWST). Registration and ticket upgrades remain open.
