V-Green Global Charging Station Development JSC, a company founded by VinFast’s chairman Pham Nhat Vuong, announced the launch of its electric vehicle (EV) charging station partnership model in the Philippines. Aimed at creating its version of a “supercharger network,” this strategic move aims to accelerate the adoption of EVs in Southeast Asia and directly supports the regional growth of VinFast’s electric vehicle ecosystem.

In the Philippines, the opportunity to become the first V-Green charging station franchisers was offered to Filipino landowners and business owners to enter the burgeoning green technology sector with minimal risk. V-Green will fully fund and manage the installation, three-phase electrical connection, and 24/7 operation and maintenance of charging stations. Partners will benefit from a revenue-sharing agreement and a minimum five-year lease term, requiring no upfront investment or operational burden.

“We believe that EV charging stations will become a standard feature across all types of real estate developments in the Philippines within the next five years,” said Luu Viet Hung, CEO of V-Green Philippines. He emphasized V-Green’s commitment to collaborating with local partners to deliver smart EV charging infrastructure, enhancing property value and contributing to the country’s green transition.

V-Green is actively seeking suitable sites in Metro Manila, Cebu City, and Davao, with preferred areas ranging from 30 to 1,000 square meters. Ideal locations are easily accessible, close to three-phase power sources, and possess a solid concrete foundation for charger installation. The presence of a V-Green station is expected to boost customer traffic and enhance a property’s eco-conscious image.

The expansion into the Philippines follows V-Green’s successful operations in Vietnam, where it manages over 150,000 charging ports through a combination of self-operated and franchised stations. The company plans to introduce a similar franchise model in the Philippines, which has proven effective in accelerating network coverage and broadening market participation.

This development aligns with VinFast’s aggressive entry into the Philippine EV market. VinFast has been delivering a diverse range of electric vehicles in the country, including models like the VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, and VF 9. The presence of a robust charging infrastructure, spearheaded by V-Green, is crucial for supporting VinFast’s growing sales and ensuring a comprehensive EV ecosystem for its customers.

Recently, V-Green, along with Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (Green GSM) — an all-electric ride-hailing company also part of the VinFast ecosystem — signed a memorandum of understanding with Meralco, the Philippines’ largest electric power distribution company. This partnership aims to identify and evaluate sites for EV charging stations and electric taxi hubs, further solidifying the push for green mobility in the Philippines.

V-Green Global Charging Station Development JSC is a pioneer in green infrastructure solutions, providing a wide range of charging products from home chargers to public AC and DC chargers, all integrated with intelligent management software and LINK technology. The company is actively expanding in high-growth regional markets, including Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines, reinforcing the global shift towards sustainable energy and electric transportation.
