I’m not going to be getting a Tesla Cybertruck. I prefer smaller vehicles and the Cybertruck doesn’t really have any draw for me. However, if I was in a phase of my life where I wanted to and was able to go around the country camping in national parks and state parks, the Cybertruck has a certain kind of draw for that. Even more so, this Cybertruck-inspired “CyberTrailer” certainly makes one dream about such a lifestyle.

The CyberTrailer comes from luxury trailer maker Living Vehicle, and, admittedly, it’s not going to be cheap. However, if one wanted to go living the RV life, is there any better option than this combo? I think not. “The living area transforms into six distinct room configurations that adapt to your needs, making the most of every inch,” the company notes. “The open living area features direct access through the 8 foot patio slider to the fold-down patio, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection,” they add. It’s very cool looking.

I asked my friend Dan, who creates various Cybertruck-linked products at The Cyber Studio and is itching to get his Cybertruck, what he thinks of this. “This is an off-gridder’s dream! The water extraction system and solar solutions address two major considerations for many folks,” he says. “The fold-down patio space does a great job providing a nice outdoor experience while still providing some private space off the ground. The open layout with large windows and patio doors gives the illusion of space and allows the outdoors in. The Cybertrailer is one trailer that could rival some actual homes.” I agree. And we’ll get to that more later.

Here are some other key features:

  • The solar PV power system offers up to 5 kW power capacity.
  • Max battery capacity: 100 kW (I think they mean kWh)
  • “The water generation system extracts up to 9 gallons daily from air, and works down to 20% humidity.”
  • “Combined with advanced water recycling, including a 90% efficient shower system, it enables sustainable off-grid living without water hookups.”
  • 27 ft long
  • Sleeping capacity: 5 adults

The starting price is $175,000. But you can dream about one with just a $100 refundable deposit. Deliveries begin in 2025, presuming everything runs on schedule.

Yes, the starting price is $175,000. Clearly, this is indeed meant to be your home, or is made for multimillionaires and billionaires who want to go on long camping trips from time to time. In either case, it’s not for me, but it’s still so appealing that I had to write an article about it. If the CyberTrailer is for you, you can go learn more and put down your deposit on the website.
