With the 2023 year coming to an end, GeoVerra, one of Canada’s largest land surveying and geomatics firms, is sharing something they’re incredibly proud of as a team. Giving back to the communities they work in and charities close to their team members hearts is very important to the company. Across the country, from group volunteering, participating in walks/races, client Christmas gifts and personal involvement, the GeoVerra team did some amazing things to raise money and spread awareness. This is all thanks to their GV Gives Back program, which wouldn’t be a success without the involvement of their team members.
Every year GeoVerra allocates a budget to help their team give back through donations to the organizations they volunteer with. The goal of this this program is to encourage GV employees to be active in their communities in a positive way. Now that the program has been running a couple of years, they’re excited to expand the initiative to include group volunteering and once again, Christmas gifts for their client partners. Check out how they got involved and gave back over $30,000 (and counting) in 2023:
