The newest Blix Bikes e-bike, the Sol X, is designed with comfort in mind, offering effortless pedaling, an upright riding position, ergonomic handlebars, a plush saddle, and a low step-through frame, but it also integrates a powerful motor, a torque sensor, auto headlights, brake lights and turn signals, an auto pedal-assist system, and an automatic shift mode, so it’s also built to ride adventurously and safely.

Its lighting system is next-level, with high and low beams, brake lights, and turn indicators all integrated seamlessly. You’ll be visible to cars and pedestrians at any time of day. We’re no stranger to Blix Bikes at CleanTechnica, as we’ve ridden and reviewed a number of the company’s e-bikes, including the Packa e-cargo bike, the Dubbel utility e-bike, and the Sol Eclipse, and all of them have been solid performers. We haven’t ridden the new Blix Sol X yet, but based on what we know about the company’s other models, plus the specs on the new model, the Sol X just might surpass those due to the inclusion of some advanced features and innovative technology.

The Sol X can handle a total payload of 400 pounds, which includes 60 pounds of cargo on the rear rack and 22 pounds on a front rack (optional), and has a range of up to 70 miles per charge. The full specs on the Sol X can be found on the Blix Bikes website, where it is currently listed at $1799 (reg. $1899).
