Tesla has introduced significant hardware improvements to its Model 3 sedan in the Philippines, enhancing safety features and driving convenience without adjusting prices.
The Model 3, recognized as the world’s best-selling electric sedan with top safety ratings since 2018, now features updated hardware and a refreshed appearance designed to improve the ownership experience.
Tesla operates through a single Experience Center located at Uptown Parade in Bonifacio Global City, which functions as the company’s sole retail, delivery, and service facility in the country. The direct-to-consumer model differs from traditional automotive distribution, which typically relies on networks of independent dealerships across multiple locations.
The most notable addition is a new front-facing camera that provides enhanced visibility for safer driving and easier parking. Combined with the existing camera array, the Model 3 now employs a total of eight cameras to support its vision-based Autopilot system. Responding to driver feedback, Tesla has reintroduced a traditional turn signal stalk, offering greater ease and convenience during operation. The updated model also sports new matte-black badges on the front and rear, giving the sedan a more futuristic aesthetic.
Performance specifications have also been enhanced. The Long Range All-Wheel Drive variant now offers up to 660 kilometers of range, while the Performance model provides up to 571 kilometers on a single charge. All these improvements come standard across all Model 3 trims without any price adjustments, Tesla confirmed.
To support the expanding fleet of over 2,000 Tesla vehicles now on Philippine roads, the company continues to build out its charging infrastructure. As of late 2025, three Supercharging stations with 12 Superchargers and 8 Destination Charging Stations with 32 Destination Chargers are operational, with additional locations planned before year-end. Under Tesla’s Home Charging Program, nearly 2,000 home chargers have been installed, allowing owners to recharge at their residences or workplaces at their convenience.
Tesla emphasizes its commitment to making clean, safe, and affordable transportation accessible through continuous production improvements and innovative technology. The company maintains that its vehicles deliver premium features with low total cost of ownership, offering significant savings compared to traditional internal combustion engine vehicles when factoring in the integrated ecosystem of retail, after-sales support, and comprehensive charging infrastructure.
