Swift secures contract for multiple Chevron sites

Swift has signed an agreement to provide 24–7 technical support and entertainment services for 12 months across three Chevron sites.

The renewal agreement signed with Compass Group is for Chevron’s Gorgon Butler Park, Wheatstone Onshore, and Wheatstone Offshore facilities. The contract comprises Swift’s 24–7 technical support and entertainment services.

While this agreement is the first time Swift has been contracted directly by Compass Group to deliver services to Chevron sites, Swift has indirectly provided entertainment and support services through another supplier since 2015.

Swift has an 11-year history of installing its entertainment and engagement solution in the Oil and Gas sector, including Shell and, most recently, INPEX.

Over this period, the team has built substantial knowledge and developed new features within its proprietary solution to address some of the key challenges within the mining and oil and gas sectors.

For INPEX, Swift’s in-house research and development team developed new technology to integrate Swift’s entertainment and engagement solution with the safety protocols on their offshore facility. This new feature is integrated with its PAGA system to ensure all entertainment services are interrupted if any alerts are activated.

Swift has also built a testing environment in its West Perth communications facility to replicate an offshore environment before it is shipped for installation. The systems are designed with details that are fully built out and tested locally, down to the last cable tie, with nothing left to chance.

“We are pleased to be growing our relationship with Chevron and our partners at Compass Group,” Swift chief executive officer Brian Mangano said.

“This renewal represents a key agreement within our portfolio of market-leading oil and gas sector companies, including Shell and INPEX. Swift’s extensive experience within this sector has led to developing product features and solutions to overcome challenges unique to the oil and gas sector, particularly for offshore locations.”
