Strategic alliance formed to deliver next-generation mining insights

Geoscience technology provider Datarock has announced a “strategic alliance” with software companies Mining One and Cavroc – developing integrated solutions across mining, geoscience and geotechnical workflows.

The partnership, Datarock said, aims to help mining companies better connect data to decisions by uniting machine learning modelling, advanced analytics, and deep consulting expertise.

Highlights of the partnership include greater workflow integration thanks to linking Datarock’s machine learning-based feature extraction with Cavroc’s modelling environment for faster and smoother project delivery.

Interoperability, internal enablement and research and development alignment have also been cited as benefits of the new alliance with data-sharing mechanisms, integrated system training and partnerships on the creation of new tools to meet emerging industry needs cited as key benefits.

“At Datarock, we transform raw mining data into strategic decisions. This alliance connects our ML expertise with Cavroc’s powerful modelling tools and Mining One’s practical consulting experience to produce engineering designs that are efficient, uncompromising on safety, and capable of delivering the highest standards in mining,” Datarock chief commercial officer Thomas Picherit said.

“Mining One has always focused on combining deep technical expertise with real-world practicality. This alliance creates a seamless pathway from high-quality data to robust engineering solutions, enabling clients to act with confidence and speed,” Mining One head of strategic partnerships and business development Olga Verezub said.

“Cavroc’s modelling tools help teams visualise and interpret complex datasets at scale. Working alongside Datarock and Mining One means those models now become part of an integrated workflow — one that starts with raw imagery and ends with engineering-grade insights ready for immediate use,” Cavroc executive director Abouzar Vakili said.
