I recently sat down with Richard Halsall, CEO and Founder of Exhale Fans, for another episode of CleanTech Talk. I’ve been doing CleanTech Talk for more than 10 years, with more than 1.1 million listens on our 359 episodes on SoundCloud alone thanks to the hundreds of super interesting people who have been on the show, but I think this may have been my favorite conversation of all. I love this tech from Richard and Exhale Fans, and the conversation just hit a lot of fun and interesting topics for me.
Exhale Fans has developed an extremely efficient HVAC delivery system, based on an innovative bladeless ceiling fan. It is designed to support the energy efficiency needs of offices, hotels, airports, data centers, restaurants, schools, homes, and indoor spaces. Learn much more about it in the CleanTech Talk episode below.
You can also listen to the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, SoundCloud, Overcast, Pocket, Podbean, or Radio Public.
For a little more of a teaser on the technology, here’s a brief intro from the Exhale Fans website: “Unlike traditional ceiling fans that just push air straight down, the Exhale bladeless fan uses a unique vortex effect to draw in air from below and gently circulate it 360 degrees throughout the room. The result? A smooth, even breeze that reaches every corner — no matter where you’re sitting. Whisper-quiet, energy-efficient, and elegantly discreet, the Exhale fan delivers year-round comfort with a modern touch.” But, yes, listen to the full episode!
