Ramelius Resources has announced its estimates in its 2025 mineral resources and ore reserves statement, reporting bumper year-on-year results.
The company has achieved record production results in the 2024-25 financial year, with ore reserves up year-on-year by 118 per cent and mineral resources up by 38 per cent.
Total mineral resources are estimated to be 210 Mt at 1.8 g/t Au for 12 Moz of gold and total ore reserves are estimated to be 57 Mt at 1.3 g/t Au for 2.4 Moz of gold.
The company said ore reserves increased substantially year-on-year due to the inclusion of the Eridanus ore reserve (18Mt @ 1.2g/t Au for 680koz) and open pit ore reserves (20Mt @ 1.3g/t Au for 870koz) from the Rebecca-Roe PFS.
A maiden ore reserve of 0.48Mt @ 3.6g/t Au for 57koz for Break of Day underground at Cue and the conversion of mineral resource extensions in Cue open pit sources also made significant contributions to the strong results.
The company said significant further increases in ore reserves, including a maiden Dalgaranga Ore Reserve, are expected during the December 2025 quarter, with the completion of the Never Never (including Pepper) Underground PFS and the inclusion of the Roe Underground as part of the Rebecca-Roe DFS.
The company has guided to an exploration spend in FY26 of $80-100 million with emphasis on Dalgaranga, Penny, Cue, Mt Magnet (primarily the Galaxy and Eridanus areas) and the Rebecca-Roe project area.
The strong results follow a key update Ramelius released a couple of weeks ago on the integration of the Dalgaranga gold mine into its Mt Magnet hub, delivering promising new underground drill results.
With Dalgaranga – located 475km northeast of Perth and 80km northwest of Mt Magnet –changing hands, the high-grade Never Never and Pepper deposits have been integrated into Ramelius’ portfolio.
“The infill drilling program at Never Never and Pepper has continued to validate the geological model and deliver exciting results as we look to incorporate the Dalgaranga underground mine into the Mt Magnet hub,” Ramelius managing director Mark Zeptner said at the time.
“We will continue to provide Dalgaranga and Mt Magnet updates as we aspire to make this one of Australia’s top gold production centres.”
