PROK expands New South Wales base with new manufacturing facility – International Mining

PROK has expanded its Sydney operations with the opening of a new, larger, purpose-built manufacturing facility in Ingleburn, New South Wales.

This milestone follows on from significant production equipment upgrades in 2024 and marks a major step forward in PROK’s continued investment in Australian manufacturing and its commitment to delivering industry leading conveyor components and solutions, it says.

Last year, PROK Sydney underwent significant upgrades to its Smeaton Grange facility, introducing a high-volume production line and additional robotic CNC shaft machining. These additions have enhanced production efficiency, expanded capacity and improved quality control, allowing the team to meet growing customer demand with even greater precision and speed.

The new purpose-built manufacturing facility in Ingleburn, will significantly boost manufacturing capacity, allowing PROK to expand its product range and deliver even greater efficiency, productivity and reliability to our customers in Australia and beyond, the company added.

“The new Ingleburn Manufacturing Facility plays an important role in the expansion of PROK’s product range on the East Coast of Australia,” Ben Curis, General Manager PROK Sydney, said. “It reflects our dedication to supporting our customers’ evolving needs and strengthening our local manufacturing capability.”

PROK will ensure a seamless transition, maintaining full customer support, consistent lead times and the same high level of service our clients rely on, it added.
