Rammer is reinforcing its commitment to reliability and durability with an extended factory warranty for all Rammer hydraulic rockbreakers.
Extended warranty details:
• Two-year standard factory warranty – now covering all Rammer rockbreakers
• Three-year factory warranty – exclusive for the Compact range
The new warranty extension applies to all new Rammer rockbreakers including those registered in 2024. All other warranty terms remain unchanged.
Technology behind reliability
Rammer rockbreakers have become the go-to solution for the toughest mining and quarrying applications across Australia, renowned for their exceptional reliability and durability. The extended warranty further enhances customer confidence by providing added peace of mind.
“Our large rockbreaker range combines advanced hydraulics, unique operating principles, quality materials and an excellent power-to-weight ratio, making them the powerful and reliable choice for miners,” Rammer product line lifecycle manager for rockbreakers Esa Sjönberg said.
Rammer rockbreakers are manufactured with robust components and high-quality steel, providing extra durability throughout the breaker lifecycle. Features such as a wear-resistant lower boot and heavy-duty housing enhance durability, while the membrane-type accumulator eliminates gas leakage, reducing the need for on-site recharging.
Extended working life
One of the primary causes of premature rockbreaker failure is blank firing, which occurs when the piston strikes without engaging the tool and all the energy that’s normally transferred goes back inside the rockbreaker causing internal wear and component failure over time.
Rammer’s anti-blank firing technology prevents operation unless the piston engages the tool. The idle blow protection (IBP) feature, which is easily adjustable on-site, ensures the rockbreaker operates only when pressure is applied to the tool.
This innovation helps to:
- protect the tool from failures and tie rod stress
- reduce oil overheating
- minimise premature failures
- significantly extend tool life.
