London, June 03, 2024 , (Oilandgaspress) ––Mercedes-Benz Heritage GmbH is strengthening the personnel structure of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center. As of 1 June 2024, the three roles of Head of Classic Center, Technical Operations Management as well as Sales and Marketing Classic Center will be newly filled. This reorganisation will facilitate continued dynamic development of the centre of excellence for classic vehicles with the three-pointed star.
Since February 2024, as a result of an acquisition, the workshop capacities of the Classic Center have been considerably expanded. This has also involved taking on experienced specialists, along with their formidable know-how, as well as a substantial stock of spare parts and specialised equipment for complex work on exclusive Mercedes-Benz classics. Thus, additional capabilities for factory restorations, repairs and maintenance have been created, which has more than doubled workshop capacity.
Experience and expertise in leadership roles
Peter Schoren (53) will now head the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center in the Stuttgart region. He will additionally be joining the management board of Mercedes-Benz Heritage GmbH. Peter Schoren has been with the company for 25 years and has a wealth of experience in the areas of marketing, strategy and sales. In his previous role, from 2017 on, he served as Head of Product Management and Sales in the off-road vehicle division. Following the successful market launch of the facelifted G-Class and the introduction of the all-electric G-Class, he now takes on this new responsibility.
Thomas Armbrecht (47) brings many years of practical experience in supplier and quality management from the former Daimler AG and the Daimler Truck AG joint venture cellcentric GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 2021. He was Head of Quality there from 2021 on.
Patrik Gottwick (39) will be the new Manager of Sales and Marketing Classic Center at Mercedes-Benz Heritage GmbH. He brings extensive experience in various leadership roles in the classic car sector. With his expertise, he will further develop the Classic Center’s trading operations, focusing particularly on top-segment Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
