Monadelphous wins Rio Tinto, Newmont contracts in Australia – International Mining

Engineering company Monadelphous Group Limited has announced the award of new construction and maintenance contracts in the resources and infrastructure sectors valued at more than A$110 million ($72 million).

The company has been awarded a contract for the provision of electrical and instrumentation construction services at Rio Tinto’s Parker Point Stockyard Sustaining Project near Dampier in Western Australia, with work expected to be completed in mid-2026.

In addition, Monadelphous has secured a five-year extension to its existing contract providing general mechanical and electrical maintenance services at Newmont’s gold operations in Boddington, Western Australia, and Tanami, Northern Territory. Monadelphous has been providing these services since 2015.
