Fleet Space won the AI Innovation of the Year award for its AI-powered exploration platform, ExoSphere, which streamlines data-driven resource development, management, and exploration into a single workflow for the world’s largest mining companies. Fleet Space’s expansion into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), marked by a landmark partnership with Maaden, earned it the Business Expansion award. “Building Mineral Supply Chains of the Future” – the company’s standout marketing campaign – showcasing Fleet Space and Maaden’s partnership as a technology accelerator to develop Saudi Arabia’s 2.5T mineral assets and fuel the Kingdom’s rise as a global leader in AI-ready geointelligence, helped Fleet Space claim the Marketing Excellence award for Brand Storytelling.
Data-Driven Drilling Fueled By Agile Geoscience

Fleet Space’s ExoSphere platform is shaking up resource development, management, and exploration with its agile geoscience solutions. By using artificial intelligence, a proprietary network of satellites and real-time geophysical surveys, ExoSphere delivers high-resolution 3D imaging of orebodies, structures, and mineral systems in real-time. That’s a big leap from the months or years it used to take with older methods.
What really makes ExoSphere stand out is how it deploys several satellite-enabled geophysical survey methods and seamlessly integrates the data from each into coherent 3D models. These methods include active seismic (boosted by Fleet Space’s acquisition of HiSeis), ambient noise tomography, gravity, magnetotellurics, and more. Leveraging Fleet Space’s proprietary multimodal AI system, ExoSphere then delivers data-driven drill targeting insights while teams are still in the field – minimizing lag time between data acquisition and critical decision making. The result? Improved drill success rates, enhanced ESG performance, optimized asset value, budget efficiency, and reduced costs across the mining lifecycle.

Big names in mining, such as Rio Tinto, Barrick, Gold Fields, AngloGold Ashanti, and the Bezos and Gates-backed Koloma, have already put ExoSphere to work. The platform has been used in places as varied as Saudi Arabia’s Arabian Shield, Chile’s Salares Norte, Pakistan’s Reko Diq, and Argentina’s Rincon Lithium Project. In each case, it has helped companies work faster, make data-driven decisions at the project and portfolio level, and further their sustainability goals.
Fleet Space isn’t stopping at Earth, either. The company is preparing to send a version of ExoSphere, called SPIDER, to the Moon on Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost Mission 2. This lunar mission – and Fleet Space’s collaborations with MIT Media Lab’s Space Exploration Initiative and NASA – will help future missions map what’s below the surface and make data-driven decisions about lunar infrastructure development, unlocking new capabilities to advance exploration on Earth, the Moon, and Mars.

Strategic market entry: Fleet Space’s move into MENA
Fleet Space’s expansion into the MENA region is a continuation of the company’s high-impact business strategy – moving fast to support ambitious partners focusing their portfolio growth on under-explored regions with untapped mineral potential while maximizing their existing assets. Through a multi-year deal with Maaden, Saudi Arabia’s national mining company, to image the Kingdom’s 2.5T mineral assets across 12,000 square kilometers of the Arabian Shield – Fleet Space and Maaden opened a new chapter in the mining industry’s future by launching Earth’s largest AI-powered mineral exploration program.
To make this happen, Fleet Space teamed up with a leading smart solutions provider in Saudi Arabia, Tahreez, a subsidiary of Alturki Holding. This partnership allowed the company to roll out its technology quickly across the Arabian Shield to support Maaden’s ambitious growth strategy. The move fits perfectly with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to make mining the third pillar of the Kingdom’s economy.

Backing up this expansion was a $100 million Series D funding round – the second largest mining tech funding round in 2024, after Kobold Metals. With this investment, Fleet Space has built regional hubs in the US, Canada, Chile, and Australia that enable ExoSphere service capacity for global mining operations across five continents. Fleet Space also recently unveiled its 5,300m2 advanced manufacturing facility and global headquarters, enabling a production capacity for hundreds of satellites and thousands of next-gen geophysical sensors per year.
By working closely with global partners and aligning with national goals, Fleet Space has built a reputation as a next-gen mining technology provider for the world’s largest and most ambitious mining companies. Its collaboration with Maaden, strengthened by a U.S. – Saudi Arabia Memorandum of Cooperation, puts the company at the center of international efforts to build resilient, secure, and agile mineral supply chains critical to the energy transition and future industries.
A New Story: Mining Tech Unlocks The Future
Fleet Space’s marketing campaign “Building Mineral Supply Chains of the Future” based on its partnership with Maaden – launched in parallel with the US and KSA’s Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) on critical minerals in May 2025 – fundamentally reshaped how next-gen mining technologies can be a force to strengthen international collaboration, global investment, and development of resilient mineral supply chains.

One of the highlights of the campaign was a visually striking video Combining sequences from Maaden’s F1 Aston Martin sponsorship, aerial views and detailed graphics – the video delivered a powerful visual storytelling experience, highlighting how agile geoscience and data-driven mineral exploration enables nations and mining leaders to rapidly acquire the most valuable digital resource of the 21st century: AI-ready exploration and orebody data. A message that connected with policymakers, mining leaders, investors, and the general public around the world at a time of heightened attention on the mining industry.
By showing exploration and frontier technologies essential to resilient, agile, and data-driven mineral supply chains, Fleet Space helped spark new conversations about the mining industry’s role in the global economy and building industries of the future.
Within its first week, the campaign reached tens of thousands of viewers and got people talking across the industry – from Silicon Valley to Riyadh to Perth and Santiago. Building on this campaign, Fleet Space partnered with F1 Academy’s youngest driver, Joanne Ciconte, to support her journey as Australia’s first female F1 driver and highlight how real-time data is unlocking new frontiers of performance in mining, aerospace, and motorsports.
Raising the bar for how perceptions of the global mining industry can be reshaped. Fleet Space’s storytelling highlights unique parallels between mining’s technological evolution and other industries like aerospace, motorsports, and AI. Leveraging breakthroughs in real-time orebody knowledge and AI, mining technology in the field today is defining the course of the 21st century, creating the same continuous learning loops that unlocked innovations in reusable rockets and self-driving vehicles. As a result, Fleet Space’s storytelling has drawn in talent, investment, and interest from new corners of the global economy.
