London, May 23, 2025 , (Oilandgaspress) –––The new Actros L ProCabin 1848 LS trucks are designed for long-distance international transport. In addition to comfort for the driver, they offer modern safety assistance systems. In their scope, the systems partially significantly exceed the strict standards of the General Safety Regulation (GSR) that apply since July 2024, which mandates a whole range of driver assistance systems in order to further increase road traffic safety for all parties involved. For example, the emergency brake assistant Active Brake Assist 6 can now also perform an automated full braking maneuver to a complete stop at speeds of up to 60 km/h in front of crossing, oncoming, or lane-driving road users. The 75 vehicles that Kawczyński Logistics has received have improved aerodynamics thanks to the new cab design, which can reduce fuel consumption by up to 3% compared to the previous model. For the first time, the Kawczyński Logistics fleet will be on the road with white-painted vehicles with red side logos.
