Kuya Silver has started the Phase I drilling programme at its 16,000-hectare (ha) Silver Kings Project in Northern Ontario, Canada.
The project covers a 16,000ha area in Northern Ontario’s most prolific silver mining camp, near the historic mining town of Cobalt, Ontario.
The company aims to drill a total of 10,000m across multiple phases, targeting high-grade silver-cobalt mineralisation at depth in the historic Cobalt Ontario silver mining camp.
The initial phase will include drilling at the Frontier NW target, the Campbell-Crawford target and the Airgiod target , where previous drilling intersected silver-cobalt mineralisation.
The Frontier NW target zone, a brownfields area, is situated 350m north-west of the Frontier Mine, which historically produced significant amounts of silver and cobalt.
Previous drilling in 2018 intersected silver-cobalt mineralisation, and a trenching programme in 2023 revealed three mineralised veins with high silver and cobalt content.

The Campbell-Crawford and Airgiod targets, historically separate claims, are now part of a continuous property.
Kuya Silver said the two targets feature weakly mineralised veins on the surface within the Nipissing Diabase sill.
The company’s drilling in 2023 uncovered bonanza-grade silver at these targets, with subsequent trenching and drilling identifying at least six mineralised veins.
The upcoming drilling will focus on high-grade mineralised shoots at the Campbell-Crawford target and will investigate surface veins, fault zones and historic projected mineralisation at the Airgiod target.
Kuya Silver exploration vice-president David Lewis said: “It is great to have a drill back on site again at the Silver Kings Project, especially given the accomplishments that Kuya Silver made here in 2023.”
