JERA Americas Names Randolph Bell Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs

HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–JERA Americas Inc., a Houston-based subsidiary of global energy leader JERA Co., is pleased to announce Randolph Bell has joined the Company as the Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs.


Bell will lead government engagement teams for JERA Americas at the local, state, and federal level with a focus on energy markets crucial to the Company’s business. In this role, he will direct and coordinate efforts to advance policy that will enable JERA Americas’ sustainability goals and further the vision of providing cutting-edge solutions for the world’s energy issues.

Bell comes to JERA Americas with a deep expertise in global energy security and a background spanning government affairs, international relations, and strategic leadership. Bell most recently served as Associate Partner at Dentons Global Advisors, where he led client engagement on US and international policy, strategy and advocacy. He also led international government affairs for Commonwealth Fusion Systems.

Bell was with the Atlantic Council, the preeminent think tank at the intersection of energy security and stability, for eight years, most recently service as Senior Director, Global Energy Center and Richard Morningstar Chair for Global Energy Security. While there he was responsible for overall success of the Center, including strategy, programs, budget, and personnel and regularly engaged on matters of domestic and international energy.
