With 80+ programs across the Chicago area, ChesedChicago offers critical assistance that helps people not just get by, but rebuild and get back on their feet. They also run one of the country’s most buzzworthy charity raffles, offering top-tier electric vehicles like Teslas, Rivians, and Lucids as prizes. And all the money from the raffle goes to support their lifesaving work.

They supply food, furniture, clothing, and even offer job placement services, because it’s all about getting people back to their independence. In a time of so much animosity and fighting, it’s nice to see an organization just focused on helping people.

The raffle may sound like ones we’ve promoted here on CleanTechnica to support other nonprofit organizations, and it is! Though, this one is even more than a decade old. “Every summer, we launch this massive national raffle — and when I say massive, I mean blink-and-it’s-sold-out massive. This is the 11th year we are doing this,” the organization writes.

“We only sell 9,999 tickets total. That’s it. You’re not competing with hundreds of thousands of entries — it’s actually winnable.

“The grand prize? You get to choose the EV of your dreams: Tesla Model X, Cybertruck, Lucid Air, Rivian R1S — all electric, all stunning, all yours. Truth is, you can select any EV worth up to $80,000, or take the $50,000 cash prize if that’s more your speed.

“We’ve had winners from all over — New York, Chicago, Toronto, even the Middle East.”

The tickets for this raffle start at $100. However, we have some discounts on off for you. When you use the code CLEAN while buying tickets, you can save $25 off 2 tickets or $500 off 15 tickets. You can go and get your raffle tickets at CCraffle.com — just remember to use the code CLEAN.

Moshe Isenberg jumped on a podcast with me to talk about the raffle, its history, and ChesedChicago. You can watch or listen to that above or via your favorite podcast network. Mo has spent over 20 years in the nonprofit and business worlds, with a focus on fundraising, community engagement, and leadership development. He serves on the board of ChesedChicago and is active in several national and local causes all in hopes of making the world a better place.
