Haultrax says four Australian mines committed to its nextgen FMS – International Mining

Just weeks after the launch of Haultrax’s all-new Fleet Management System platform, it says momentum is already building. Two operations – in Western Australia and Far North Queensland – are now live with the redesigned FMS software and hardware, while another two are underway in deployment.

The company stated: “This marks a significant milestone in delivering on our mission to make mining technology more accessible, intuitive, and impactful, transforming the way supervisors manage
operations and drive performance on site. Built with mining production supervisors in mind, FleetOps 2.0 delivers live operational insights to hit production and safety target, reduce delays, and enable confident decision-making in the pit.”

Among its features, Short Interval Control (SIC) reporting it says is gaining particular traction, giving supervisors near real-time visibility into shift progress, enabling them to set clear targets for each interval, track performance, and take timely action to keep operations on track. “The easy and intuitive mobile interface ensures supervisors have critical information at their fingertips, while the new, ultra-modern plug-and-play hardware platform – HXTag – makes deployment fast and efficient. With installation completed in just a few weeks, operations can start realising value almost immediately.”

“Our focus has been on building technology that truly supports the people using it and taking it to the next level in performance and usability,” said Lorenzo Scalabrini, Operational Lead – HX Digital at Haultrax. “Supervisors now have a tool that makes their work easier, faster, and more effective every shift – and with simple installation, operations don’t have to wait months to see results.”

Both sites are also taking advantage of Haultrax’s FMS XaaS (Anything as a Service) model. “Functioning much like a rental-type arrangement, XaaS bundles hardware, software, updates, and support into one monthly fee per asset – with no minimum term – removing traditional barriers to entry and allowing operations to scale without heavy upfront costs.”

“The early adoption of the next generation of our Fleet Management System shows that mining operations are ready for a different approach,” said Gordon Crane, Commercial Director at Haultrax. “By making installation simple and offering a XaaS model built for mining, we’re ensuring sites get value from day one — without long contracts or complexity holding them back.”

With four sites already committed and more on the way, Haultrax says its next generation Fleet Management System “is setting a new benchmark for accessible, fast-to-deploy, and performance-driven mining technology.”
