A lot of the clients I serve with generative AI are social sector and global public health clients based in Geneva, where I live. We’re seeing a truly transformative and high-impact opportunity to take our local expertise in healthcare, emergency response, and pandemics and make it available to social impact causes in the Global South and other lower-income countries—and to really make it accessible to them in a way that reflects their context and specific needs. The second opportunity for generative AI in Europe lies with our fantastic talent, excellent universities, and great ecosystems and communities of technologists across the continent. I really enjoy watching this new generation of young tech talent use generative AI to create new innovations, new ideas, and new companies with a pace and purpose I haven’t seen for 20 years.
