The Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS38) in Gothenburg is all about charging. The biggest and most important scientific conference in the world about everything connected to the transition to electric mobility is completely devoted to charging. Over 400 abstracts were submitted, all covering one aspect or another of the charging technology, the charging infrastructure, the charging policies, and the charging future.
I am not going to listen to many of the presentations. Most are too difficult for a non-scientist like me. Finding those that are of interest to me is a full-time job, probably taking more time than the conference is long. I promise to review some in the coming week, though.
There is also an exhibition with charger producers and support industry. Just for a taste of the many different high-power DC chargers on the floor here, below is a small photo reportage.
The presentations on the main stage are more suitable for my simple mind. Some of those I will skip to join an excursion to the Volvo tech center and an MCS charging hub.
More is coming about EVS38.
