DRA Global, through its operations business Minpoex, has successfully established and operated NeuroMine, its Mining Insight Centre, throughout Africa and the Middle East since 2023. Building on this success, DRA has now expanded this innovative capability into the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region with the recent implementation at the Bravus Carmichael Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP), which DRA Operations has been managing since 2022.
With this expansion, NeuroMine’s advanced analytics are now utilised across 10 operational sites. In the short time that NeuroMine has been operational at Carmichael, DRA says its benefits have already translated into improved performance, adding: “This success underscores DRA’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance operational efficiency and productivity for its clients. NeuroMine is described as a comprehensive hub that navigates the entirety of the mining value chain – from mining, comminution, processing, and tailings to logistics.
