Compass Bending’s core business is pipe bending and coating for pipeline and facility construction projects, but we also supply custom and production bending and rolling services to a great variety of other businesses. We offer bending up to 16″ø seamless and welded (ERW) line pipe in-house, available with a variety of coating options, as well as many other forms of bending, rolling and fabrication. If we don’t have the equipment or capacity for what you need done, we have a large network of subcontractors for forming, tube and pipe bending (pipe up to 60″ø), fabrication and coating so we can take on almost any project.

Compass Has the Flexibility
Compass Bending has two shops, both in the Calgary’s Foothills Industrial Park with easy access to major routes and local suppliers. New and efficient machines, some purchased and some designed and built to our specifications, ensure quick deliveries and consistently high quality. Our large range of equipment grants us the flexibility and diversity needed to supply the widely varying needs of our customers. We are always developing more ways of forming to expand our custom bending services.
The Compass Bending team has years of shop and field experience in bending and rolling, steel fabrication and construction. Our shop and office staff members also have a great breadth of industry experience which they bring to every project, small and large.
With Compass Bending now into our 20th year, our average staff tenure is 12 years. Pretty impressive given that the energy industry average is 103 months (8.6 years, although that figure is lumped with forestry and mining). What this means, is that while many talk about reliable product and service, Compass Bending has the experienced staff to deliver it.
