China’s Zoomlion moves up into larger mining trucks with all-domestic 120 ton ZTE210 – International Mining

On January 21, a 120-ton class all-domestic Chinese electric drive mining truck ZTE210 independently developed by Zoomlion rolled off the production line in Changsha, China. The OEM says it is the first all-domestic electric drive truck of the this size to be launched in China. It added that the successful rollout of ZTE210 is a historic breakthrough for Chinese mining equipment, but also marks Zoomlion’s mining machinery’s official entry into the high-end mining equipment market.

The ZTE210 it says integrates the state-of-the-art technological achievements and breaks through many core technologies. It has a dead weight of about 90 tons and a rated load of 120 tons. It is equipped with a Chinese-made 39.2-litre common rail diesel engine and a Chinese-made AC variable frequency traction system, which can provide higher power for optimal transportation. performance. The total power exceeds products of the same level by 8%, the heavy load climbing speed is fast, and the transportation efficiency is improved by more than 10%.

ZTE210 adopts a box-section welded frame, hydro-pneumatic suspension and high-strength body. “It has a strong and durable structure, good impact resistance and optimal loading efficiency, and is suitable for various materials. The vehicle performance, lifespan and reliability have reached the international advanced level,” said the statement.

Meng Qingyong, General Manager of the Mining Machinery Division of Zoomlion, said that the rollout of ZTE210 is just the starting point, and the product line of electric drive dump trucks will be continuously improved in the future. Zoomlion says its Mining Machinery Division “is based on existing mining machinery technology, pursues innovation, and is committed to developing more reliable, efficient, and intelligent mining machinery and equipment.”
