AFRY to make further inroads into Brazil with Reta Engenharia acquisition – International Mining

AFRY says it has entered into an agreement to acquire Reta Engenharia, a Brazil-based provider of project and construction management services, with a leading foothold in the mining and metals sector.

With more than 200 employees, Reta brings strong local expertise that will further strengthen AFRY’s capabilities within core industrial sectors in the Americas.

Reta, AFRY says, has established itself as a leading provider of high value-added services, with recognised expertise in project management and controls during early development phases, as well as in construction management and site supervision. The company operates across multiple industries in Brazil and manages a robust portfolio of capital investment projects as well as local operational services.

Reta’s strong local presence and core competencies will enhance AFRY’s existing operations which includes over 1,200 employees in Brazil, unlocking new growth opportunities across the Americas.

Brazil plays a vital role in sustainable industrial development, and Reta’s capabilities will strengthen our position from the early stages of client projects. Combining their niche expertise with AFRY’s global platform creates a strong foundation for future growth in the region.”

Marcus Cassini, CEO, Reta Engenharia, said: “Joining AFRY defines a new and important chapter in the history of Reta Engenharia. We share a strong vision of technical excellence, sustainable development and the promotion of shared value for clients and employees.
