Sandover bumps up to strategic priority

Tivan Limited has upgraded its Sandover lithium project in the Northern Territory to a strategic priority.

According to Tivan, the upgrade is a reflection of the substantial progress made at the site since the company commenced its exploration alliance with EARTH AI in March 2023.

“Sandover is creating much excitement at Tivan,” Tivan executive chairman Grant Wilson said. “Beyond the high quality drill targets that have been identified, AI (artificial intelligence) is proving itself in the field as a highly amenable and disruptive technology.

“In EARTH AI’s capable hands, Sandover is shaping as a case study in systematic, low cost, low impact minerals exploration across vast and highly prospective terrain.”

With the board’s decision, Sandover will feature more prominently in forward-looking budgetary decisions at Tivan.

Significant progress continues to be made in respect to project facilitation and Traditional Owners and Native Title Holders.

Tivan is continuing to back the use of AI in future mineral exploration, based on “EARTH AI’s track record of
achievement at Sandover, including in terms of low expenditure, highly efficient targeting and the minimisation of
impact on country”.

EARTH AI has spent over 120 days in the field at Sandover, assaying 662 samples and recording 1868 geological observations. The collections have yielded four drill targets, with more assays currently pending.
