The YANGWANG U8 can apparently operate on water for up to 30 minutes. At a recent BYD E-Journey in Zhengzhou, China, the company showed off the feature in a giant pool.
“The YANGWANG U8 demonstrated its floating capability, maintaining controlled movement on water for up to 30 minutes during emergency scenarios,” the company wrote in a post.
“Powered by the e⁴ Platform, each wheel receives independent control for precise traction and stability across extreme environments. With more than 1,200 horsepower and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, the YANGWANG U8 shows what intelligent performance can achieve.”
Innovation took center stage at the BYD E-Journey in Zhengzhou, where guests witnessed an SUV engineered for the extraordinary.
