SLR to create ‘comprehensive offering’ across mining project lifecycle with Fuse Advisors acquisition – International Mining

SLR Consulting (Canada) Ltd has announced the acquisition of Fuse Advisors Inc, a Vancouver-based mining advisory and management consultancy, bringing together Fuse’s project management expertise with SLR’s global technical, environmental and advisory services.

Founded in 2022 by principals Ryan Weymark, Ross Weymark and Davis Kelly, Fuse Advisors has earned a reputation as a trusted partner in the mining sector, SLR says. The firm supports clients in advancing resource development projects, enhancing operational efficiency and driving value creation. Fuse’s team of skilled professionals specialises in integrated project management and execution, technical consulting, management operating systems (MOS)  and technical advisory services – critical capabilities for developing and operating resource projects sustainably and efficiently.

This acquisition, which was finalised on October 31, 2025, helps create a comprehensive offering for mining clients across the entire project lifecycle, from development through operations to closure, SLR says. Fuse will now be able to leverage SLR’s infrastructure and international reach to accelerate growth and expand service delivery into new markets.

Phil Baudry, Global Mining Advisory Director at SLR, said: “Fuse and SLR share a deep commitment to technical excellence, outstanding client service and responsible resource development. This partnership enhances our ability to support mining clients during the critical development phase, combining Fuse’s project management strengths with SLR’s scientific and technical expertise in mining and sustainability. I’m excited to introduce our global client base to this expanded service offering and Fuse’s long-term approach to project development.”

Ryan Weymark, Principal at Fuse Advisors, said: “Joining forces with SLR gives us the opportunity to grow with a global team while continuing to deliver high-quality service to our clients. We look forward to contributing our expertise and expanding our reach through this new chapter.”

Craig Johnston, SLR’s Regional Managing Director, added: “Both Fuse and SLR share a commitment to technical excellence, exceptional client service and responsible resource development. This partnership strengthens our ability to help mining clients shape their projects during the critical development phase –delivering financeable, operational and responsible outcomes.”

Fuse Advisors will continue to operate under the existing leadership, ensuring continuity for clients and partners, SLR clarified.
