Caterpillar wins gold for MINExpo 2024 booth

Caterpillar has received a Eventex Gold Award for Stand Design at the 2025 Eventex Awards, recognising the company’s innovative 56,000-square-foot exhibit at MINExpo 2024.

The Eventex Awards celebrates global excellence in events and experiential marketing.

Among 1239 entries from 59 countries, Caterpillar stood out for its immersive booth that effectively transported attendees to a real-world mine site.

The exhibit was inspired by Caterpillar’s Tinaja Hills demonstration and learning centre in Arizona, US. It was designed, developed and executed in collaboration with creative agencies Spiro and Converse Marketing.

All details of the booth aimed to reflect Caterpillar’s innovation, technology and legacy in the mining sector.

“This well-designed exhibit didn’t just impress – it blew attendees away by showcasing Caterpillar’s leadership in a genuinely engaging, meaningful way,” an Eventex juror said.

Another juror praised its “great use of theming, lighting, and interactive displays,” calling it “an unforgettable theatre-like experience, driving significant business results and extensive media coverage”.

“We’re proud of the team whose creativity brought this award-winning booth to life,” Caterpillar vice president of aftermarket services and marketing for resource industries Veronica Newhouse said.

“Their innovation continues to inspire excellence across all we do.”

The award-winning booth not only captivated thousands of attendees at MINExpo 2024, but also reinforced Caterpillar’s commitment to setting new benchmarks in experiential marketing.

The original equipment manufacturer said receiving the Gold Award highlights its collaboration with partners and its ability to engage audiences in a meaningful way, both on and off the mine site.
