SACRAMENTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Western States Petroleum Association (WSPA) is pleased to announce that Denise Davis will join the organization as Vice President of Strategy and Communications, effective Monday, January 13, 2025.

In her new role, Davis will lead WSPA’s strategic communications efforts, advocating on behalf of companies driving innovation in petroleum exploration, production, refining, transportation, and marketing, as well as leading advancements in renewable fuels and other energy technologies across Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.

“We are thrilled to welcome Denise to WSPA at such a pivotal time for energy policy and innovation,” said WSPA President and CEO Catherine Reheis-Boyd. “Her decades of leadership and proven ability to navigate complex challenges will strengthen our efforts to advocate for affordable, reliable energy while advancing practical solutions for a lower-carbon future. Denise is the right leader to amplify the voices of our members and the communities they serve.”
