Crude oil, Gas Price and News today

London, August 14, 2024, (Oilandgaspress) –– Oil prices rose today on estimates about lower U.S. crude and gasoline inventories. Market analysts are still focused on a possible widening of the Middle Eastern war, which could curtail global oil supplies. Crude oil inventories in the United States fell this week, by 5.205 million barrels for the week ending August 9, according to The American Petroleum Institute (API)

According to the EIA, OPEC+ production cuts are expected to reduce global oil inventories over the next three quarters, thereby pushing oil prices even higher.
