The world number one drilling and well control simulation technology provider, 3t Drilling Systems, part of global training and digital learning powerhouse 3t, will deliver its DrillSIM:5000 Classic with enhanced capabilities for well intervention and Cyber Models to Oil India Limited in Assam alongside agreeing a five-year partnership for the systems.

To achieve this operational efficiency, Oil India Limited will soon be embarking on the integration of the DrillSIM:5000 Classic and Cyber models, strengthening its workforce by integrating highly immersive learning technologies that will transform their training capabilities, such as coiled tubing, wireline, and snubbing operations.
The DrillSIM:5000 Classic provides hands-on experience in a realistic rig floor setting, from handling well control situations to dealing with equipment malfunction. The classic model is the global standard of advanced drilling and well control simulation.
The accurate representation of a conventional rig floor and 3D graphics create a highly realistic and immersive simulation environment bringing the rig to the trainee, in a safe and controlled learning environment.
The DrillSIM:5000 Cyber provides versatile and affordable drilling and well control simulation. The cyber controls and 3D quad-screen graphics create a highly realistic and immersive simulated environment of a modern rig with joystick controls.
Both simple and highly complex tasks and scenarios can be recreated to verify skills and competency in real-world situations and will be delivered to the Oil India Limited in partnership with 3t Drilling Systems’ in-country partner, Siam Services India.
